My Bio
Randy has worked in IT for over 25 years performing a multitude of functions including project management, programming (C, FORTRAN, COBOL, PL/1, Perl, Unix shell scripts, HTML, PHP), application support in various operating systems (HPUX, Solaris, Microsoft Windows, MVS/MVT), system management and administration in HPUX and Solaris, database design and administration, CRM/ERP/middleware architecture, network security design and engineering. He has worked for General Electric, Lockheed, Motorola, Hewlett-Packard (including Agilent Technologies), and The Home Depot, and has been a contractor at Cox Communications and AT&T.
Randy spent his first 6 years out of college as a Navigator in the U.S. Air Force before pursuing his interests in computer science. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the USAF Reserves after 24 years of service and with over 5000 flying hours in various models of the C130 Hercules. He attained an aeronautical rating of Master Navigator while serving in the Air Force.
Randy holds an MS in Computer Science from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Alabama. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University and he has attained his PMP certification through the Project Management Institute.
